Membership of Young Farmers' is open to all young people aged 10 to 26, whether from an agricultural background or not. There is something for everyone in YFC. Activities include sports, social events, outdoor pursuits, charity fund-raising, stock judging, crafts, performing arts, public speaking and many more.There are 18 clubs in Shropshire with a total membership of over 900.
Organisations such as the Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs are key to assisting the future of our rural sector through training, experience and also socially. The opportunities and prospects that Shropshire YFC provides its members with are invaluable in day-to-day life. Whether its confidence gained through public speaking, the ability to make sound observations when stock judging, or even making connections through meeting new people, each experience and opportunity can be transferrable to a vast number of situations

Shropshire Young Farmers’ County Chairman Stephen Evans, topped off a fantastic year as leader of the Charitable Youth Organisation with the biggest Chairman's Ball yet. 2,200 members and guests descended into the 'Jungle' at Bartie Farm, Nr St. Martins, Oswestry to celebrate the member's achievements over the past 12 months in true Young Farmer style.
